My name is Mohammad Ali Jawad and I am a Plastic, Reconstructive and Burns Surgeon, practicing predominantly in London and throughout the United Kingdom. My time is divided between work for the NHS and my private cosmetic surgery clinic, Nip n Tuck Surgery, for which I am the Managing Director and lead surgeon.

This blog has been created to keep interested parties up to date with projects that I am involved in, with particular emphasis on my ongoing involvement with the treatment of burns victim Katie Piper, plus other medical & surgical subjects for which I have an interest. Daily Telegraph: How surgeons rebuilt the face of Katie Piper

Victoria Lambert of the Daily Telegraph writes: The chemical burns suffered by Katie Price in an attack from an ex-boyfriend were so savage that, as well as destroying her looks, they threatened her life and blinded her in one eye.

Katie has spoken widely about her ordeal, but her remarkable recovery, which is testament to a pioneering new procedure performed by Mr Mohammed Jawad, a reconstructive plastic surgery surgeon, at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London, has not been reported in detail before.
