Katie Piper Burns Reconstructive Surgery: Before and After pictures

I found the image below in the News of The World newspaper over the weekend and thought that it made a good visual summary of the stages of Katie Piper's burns ordeal.

The central shot of Katie was taken prior to the acid attack by an obsessed ex-boyfriend; The shot on the right is of Katie in her very early stages of treatment at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital under the care of me (Mohammad Jawad); And the 3rd shot on the left of the screen is a recent photograph of Katie, following many operations and months of rehabilitation.

Should you wish to read the story that this image was taken from, please visit the News of the World website by clicking here.

  1. I saw your interview on Dawn News channel today. It's really heartening to see a Pakistani pioneering surgeon using his tremendous skills to treat both rich and poor alike....particularly the poor women in Pakistan.

You are a great role model who is lighting candles rather than cursing darkness.
