About Me

My name is Mohammad Ali Jawad and I am a Plastic, Reconstructive and Burns Surgeon, practicing predominantly in London and throughout the United Kingdom. My time is divided between work for the NHS and my private cosmetic surgery clinic, Nip n Tuck Surgery, for which I am the Managing Director and lead surgeon.

This blog has been created to keep interested parties up to date with projects that I am involved in, with particular emphasis on my ongoing involvement with the treatment of burns victim Katie Piper, plus other medical & surgical subjects for which I have an interest. Please check back regularly for updates.

Saving Faces at Pakistan - 12th February 2012

His work in Pakistan, he says, is a 'moral obligation' for doctors like himself who received training in the country almost for free, and then left with their skills to join the NHS. He hopes that other doctors will be similarly inspired by the film. 'I wanted to show I was having a great time - training local people and enjoying the work, owning up to  my responsibilities and encouraging others to do the same.' Then he laughs,' And if I get an Oscar out of it, am I going to say no?'
This  clipping  was taken from The  Guardian, on 12th February, 2012.

Many thanks-Mohammad
